His central philosophy revolves around balancing a rigorous challenge for the best players in the world, with ensuring it\u2019s a fair test that rewards quality golf shots.<\/p>\n
To maintain variety while also allowing for individual player strategy, Haigh and his team utilize multiple hole locations and make tactical adjustments based on real-time data from a dedicated weather team and the host agronomy staff.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe playing surfaces are amazing. They have not played on the golf course since last November,\u201d said Haigh. \u201cThey closed the course and allowed it to heal from last fall’s play and this is why it looks so beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n
