{"id":669821,"date":"2026-05-14T22:09:12","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T22:09:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/669821\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T22:09:12","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T22:09:12","slug":"rare-dust-storm-warning-issued-across-southern-manitoba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/669821\/","title":{"rendered":"Rare dust storm warning issued across southern Manitoba"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Environment Canada has issued a rare dust storm warning covering much of southern Manitoba, including Winnipeg, the Red River Valley, Westman, and parts of the Interlake.<\/p>\n<p>The warning was issued Thursday afternoon as strong westerly winds kicked up blowing dust across the region, creating poor visibility and hazardous travel conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Environment Canada says visibility could suddenly drop in some areas through the afternoon and into the evening.
