Insiders close to the couple said the problems in their relationship began to escalate after the model, 30, gave birth to their first child, Scottie Rose<\/a>, in December.<\/p>\n

A source claimed Pete<\/a>\u2018s busy work schedule formed a wedge between them, and ultimately led to the breakup.<\/p>\n

\u201cPete has been traveling so much for work, but Elsie was craving more support from him at home after their daughter was born,\u201d said the insider.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was very hard for him because, obviously, he has to work to make money.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another source said they pulled the plug very recently, adding: \u201cThey are just focusing 100% on Scottie.<\/p>\n

The Saturday Night Live<\/a> alum, 32, has spent much of the past several weeks traveling, including attending his Netflix Is a Joke special in Los Angeles on May 9, and the Kevin Hart<\/a> roast the next day \u2013 Mother\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n

Elsie seemingly spent the holiday alone at home in Brooklyn, New York, and did not post anything about Pete.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram Story on Thursday, new mom Elsie shared a snap of herself getting overwhelmed with parenting demands.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you finally get screaming baby down for a nap and you exhale and sit with yourself for a sec and realize you haven\u2019t breathed for an hour or peed all day,\u201d she vented to her followers. \u201cThe silence is deafening.\u201d<\/p>\n

December 2025- Elsie gives birth to Scottie Rose<\/a>, named in honor of Pete\u2019s late father Scott and the location of the baby\u2019s conception, Scotland<\/p>\n

April 2026- Pete debuts his Scottie tattoo next to his ear<\/a>, despite removing all of the ink<\/a> on his chest, arm and leg.<\/p>\n

May 2026- Pete and Elsie officially call it quits, sources tell The U.S. Sun exclusively<\/p>\n

The insider claimed it became clear that the relationship was ending last month as Pete started to offload his properties<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cPete is selling his properties, including his upstate home and his Staten Island apartment, to open up funds as they move forward and figure out their next steps,\u201d the insider explained, referring to Pete\u2019s possible child support payments to his ex.<\/p>\n

Last summer, sources told The U.S. Sun about the difficulties the couple were experiencing in their new relationship, as Elsie navigated the early stages of her pregnancy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to a source, their arguments were getting nasty.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s getting out of control,\u201d the source said. \u201cThey\u2019ve even started secretly recording each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is legal to record someone without their knowledge in New York since it is a one-party consent state.<\/p>\n

Elsie and Pete began dating in early 2025.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
