Dillian Whyte<\/a> when the brawler ambushed his interview with IFL TV to discuss the retired fighter picking against him at the weekend.<\/p>\nStarting off a debate, the heavyweight said: \u201cHe acts scared when he\u2019s around me, but when he\u2019s on TV, he talks the most s\u2014 sometimes. When he sees me, he\u2019s like, \u2018I\u2019m only a little guy\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jones replied: \u201cI\u2019m not scared of him. He\u2019s been the underdog before, and he\u2019ll be an underdog on Saturday night. That\u2019s just a fact.\u201d<\/p>\n
Whyte clarified: \u201cI don\u2019t want you to be scared of me, Barry. If I were trying to make you scared of me, it would be a different story. I\u2019m not trying to make you scared of me.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jones fired back: \u201cWhat are you going to do, beat me up? What does that mean? I don\u2019t feel threatened. I know what you can do, I\u2019m not stupid, am I?\u201d<\/p>\n
Calming the situation down, the British-Jamaican explained: \u201cIt\u2019s all good. I have respect for you. You paved the way for us. I\u2019m grateful for you. You were world champion before I even thought about boxing. You\u2019re someone to look up to.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Welshman claimed: \u201cOpinions are opinions, that\u2019s all they are. It might be right, it might be wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n
Whyte responded: \u201cI don\u2019t have no problems with opinions.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dillian Whyte dropped a former world champion with a granite chin\u00a0<\/p>\n
While many are counting Whyte out, that may be unwise.<\/p>\n
The boxer has proven on many occasions that he can compete with opponents who are significantly more skilled.<\/p>\n
