Drake<\/a> has returned with not just one, but three new albums with the releases of Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour.<\/p>\n

The Toronto rapper, 39, announced that his trio of projects would drop at the end of his \u201cIceman Episode 4\u201d livestream on Thursday, sharing the album titles and the message, \u201cAll 3 albums dropping at midnight from the biggest sound.\u201d<\/p>\n

The stream opened with shots of an Iceman-branded truck travelling along the Don Valley Parkway in Toronto en route to the CN Tower while a track from Iceman played, featuring Drake reflecting on the past couple of years following his high-profile feud with L.A. rapper Kendrick Lamar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It also included new music videos shot around Toronto, with cameos from comedian Shane Gillis<\/a> and Drake\u2019s son, Adonis.<\/p>\n

He also unveiled the album covers on Instagram with individual posts, including\u00a0Iceman\u2018s album art, which depicts a hand wearing a sequined glove.<\/p>\n

Drake\u2019s three albums have a total of 43 songs and feature artists like PartyNextDoor, Central Cee, Future, 21 Savage, Sexyy Red and more.<\/p>\n

He is also the first artist to release three albums at the same time, giving his own work a chance to compete for the top spots in the Billboard 200.<\/p>\n

Fans eagerly waited for Drake\u2019s Iceman\u00a0to drop, following his promotional move in April involving a 25-foot-tall structure made entirely of ice<\/a> in downtown Toronto last month that contained a package with the album\u2019s release date.<\/p>\n

Before the album drop, Drake iced over the CN Tower in Toronto on Thursday night, covering it in an icy blue glow around 9:45 p.m. in honour of Iceman.<\/p>\n

Four hubs with equipment on different sides of the tower illuminated the sky for the night while fans and passerby\u2019s came to get pictures, videos and even stream the occasion.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so excited right now\u2026it\u2019s not often that the city really does things that give us a strong sense of identity, but this definitely has,\u201d said Emily Kavakas, a student living in Toronto.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you have an artist who can bring thousands of people together, it is powerful,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

At the end of his livestream, around 10:45 p.m., a 10-minute firework display took place over the water at Harbourfront Centre.<\/p>\n

\u201cWow. This whole night really brought the city together. I wasn\u2019t expecting the fireworks to be this good or anything but this was special,\u201d said Deshawn Monroe, a fan who arrived early to find a good viewpoint of the fireworks.<\/p>\n

Another fan, Dylan Costa, who came from Markham, said the display was \u201cputting the city on the map.\u201d<\/p>\n

The City of Toronto issued a notice of the fireworks display earlier in the day, confirming it was part of a private video shoot.<\/p>\n

Drake\u2019s album cover for\u00a0Maid of Honour\u00a0features an image of his mother with a photo of the rapper and his father merged in the background.<\/p>\n

Drake confirmed in his stream that his father, Dennis Graham, is currently battling cancer, and paid a heartfelt tribute to him on his Iceman album.<\/p>\n

The album art for\u00a0Habibti\u00a0features a black-and-white image of a woman covered in masking tape with only her eyes revealed.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Nokia rapper also released seven new music videos on Thursday night for songs including\u00a0National Treasures,\u00a0Make Them Remember and\u00a0Slap The City.<\/p>\n

Drake\u2019s three new album releases come after his 2025 release of $ome $exy $ongs 4 u, which was his collaborative album with PartyNextDoor.<\/p>\n

The last time Drake released a solo album was back in Oct. 2023.<\/p>\n
