The sneak-peek video that The Bold and the Beautiful dropped at the end of Friday\u2019s episode (recapped in full here) promised a week of disappointments all across L.A. Which Debbie Downer will have the best reason to be bummed out? Let\u2019s break it down.<\/p>\n

Nobody Knows the Troubles Hope\u2019s Seen<\/p>\n

First, there\u2019s Hope, who despite being treated questionably at Forrester Creations, can\u2019t bring herself to exit stage left. As Liam puts it to Bill and Katie, working there is \u201cjust a nightmare\u201d for his wife.<\/p>\n

Then, Bill suggests, it\u2019s time that Hope woke the hell up. \u201cThere\u2019s a new sheriff in town,\u201d he declares. She oughta \u201cleave that dusty old fashion house behind\u201d and bring her talents to Logan.<\/p>\n

As it is, Liam has already promised Hope that she\u2019d never hear the word \u201cno\u201d at the upstart design firm. How is that not an offer she can\u2019t refuse?<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t Shoot the Messenger<\/p>\n

At the moment, Hope\u2019s only, er, hope is that mom Brooke will cajole Ridge into making her co-CEO. But as we now know, he refused to do so. She could have any title she wanted, just not Steffy\u2019s.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So when Brooke reconnects with Hope in the week ahead, the news that she has to impart is\u2026\u00a0not good. \u201cTell me he agreed to make you co-CEO,\u201d Hope says. Um, about that\u2026<\/p>\n

A Strong Wind\u2019s Blowing Toward a House of Cards<\/p>\n

Finally, Dylan has finally got her life back on track. Electra has forgiven her (even though if you ask us, it should have been the other way around). She\u2019s got a steady paycheck. A roof over her head. And\u2026 aw, crap, She also has cousin Remy insisting that she help him get back in everyone\u2019s good graces after\u2026 you know<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not some threat,\u201d Deke\u2019s ex exclaims to Dylan in exactly the sorta way that makes people feel like he\u2019s a threat.<\/p>\n

At least Dylan seems to have the good sense to say that she\u2019s sorry, she can\u2019t play spin doctor and reform his image. So \u201cpromise me,\u201d she pleads, \u201cthat you will stay away from all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Because let\u2019s be real, if Electra were to find out that Dylan kept this secret from her, she\u2019d be calling for the newcomer\u2019s head on a platter in a heartbeat and bringing back Aunt Ivy if only to proclaim it all \u201cnot proper.\u201d<\/p>\n
