THE CANADIAN PRESS\/Cole Burston <\/p>\n<p>Peel Regional Police are investigating after a tow truck was shot at in a parking lot in Brampton on Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>Officers were called to a gas station in the Bovaird Drive and Mountainash Road area just before 6 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators tell CityNews a suspect ran up to the tow truck and fired shots at it before fleeing. <\/p>\n<p>The tow truck was occupied by a driver, who fled the scene in the vehicle before police arrived. <\/p>\n<p>Shell casings were found in the area. <\/p>\n<p>Police don\u2019t believe the driver was injured, but are urging them to come forward.<\/p>\n<p>No suspect description is currently available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A Peel Regional Police cruiser is seen behind yellow caution tape in this undated photo.
