{"id":674223,"date":"2026-05-16T21:37:12","date_gmt":"2026-05-16T21:37:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/674223\/"},"modified":"2026-05-16T21:37:12","modified_gmt":"2026-05-16T21:37:12","slug":"brampton-tow-truck-driver-charged-for-taking-vehicles-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/674223\/","title":{"rendered":"Brampton tow truck driver charged for taking vehicles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 39-year-old Brampton is facing charges for towing vehicles without authorization. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A 39-year-old Brampton man has been charged for allegedly towing multiple vehicles belonging to members of the public \u201cwithout authorization\u201d, earlier this month. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Peel regional police say they <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peelpolice.ca\/news-feed\/posts\/peel-police-seek-additional-victims-following-illegal-vehicle-towing-investigation\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.peelpolice.ca\/news-feed\/posts\/peel-police-seek-additional-victims-following-illegal-vehicle-towing-investigation\/\">launched their investigation<\/a> on May 1, after receiving \u201cmultiple reports\u201d of vehicles being taken from Brampton parking lots without the approval from property management.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police say the vehicles were later located at a private storage yard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">As a result of their investigation police have charged 39-year-old Jaswinder Singh Saini, from Brampton, with three counts of theft of a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">It\u2019s alleged that Saini worked for a towing company out of Brampton known as A1 Flames Recovery and Towing, A1 Flames Towing, A1 Towing and Alpha One Towing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Investigators are now appealing to the public and seeking more victims for what they describe as an \u201congoing auto theft investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Anyone who believes their vehicle may have been unlawfully towed or stored, or who paid fees under those circumstances, is asked to contact police immediately. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A 39-year-old Brampton is facing charges for towing vehicles without authorization.
