\n The \u201cPoker Face\u201d star stopped by \u201cThe Tonight Show\u201d on Thursday and told Jimmy Fallon<\/a> how she initially received the request to be in the new kids\u2019 movie via email and jokingly responded that she sent a \u201creply all (saying) sure, who doesn\u2019t (want to be in a \u201cSmurfs\u201d movie)?\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n Lyonne went on to explain that the filmmakers later informed her that Rihanna plays the \u201cadorable Smurfette<\/a>, a hot little blonde number,\u201d who is also rather famously the only female Smurf in the village of little blue creatures originally based on the Belgian comic<\/a> from 1958.\n <\/p>\n \n Fallon replied, \u201cOh, Rihanna is Smurfette?\u201d by way of confirmation, to which Lyonne responded, \u201cTurns out, I\u2019m not.\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cI\u2019m a character called Mama Poot,\u201d she continued, adding that the character they showed her was \u201ca hairball with one bottom snaggle tooth, not even a top (tooth).\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cThey\u2019re looking at me like, \u2018Isn\u2019t this charming that you guys seem so similar,\u2019\u201d Lyonne said of the filmmaking team.\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cI said, \u2018Yeah, no, it\u2019s definitely going to help me get dates, I\u2019m sure,\u2019\u201d she joked.\n <\/p>\n \n Fallon then showed a picture of Mama Poot, attesting to the character\u2019s cuteness, as the audience produced a mixture of \u2018awws\u2019 and befuddled laughter.\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cAnd guys, it\u2019s not about this, but I just want to remind everyone that I have a full set of real teeth.
