Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed (Apple TV, Wednesday, 3 a.m., two-episode series premiere) Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany leads this\u00a0 dark comedy-thriller as Paula, a newly divorced mom juggling an identity crisis, a brutal custody battle (Jake Johnson plays her ex-husband Karl) and general everyday malaise. She finds a much-welcome outlet via her connection with a hunky camboy (Brandon Flynn)\u2014however, their digital dalliances soon have Paula questioning whether or not she\u2019s witnessed a real-life crime, drawing her into a greater conspiracy of blackmail, murder and, weirdly, suburban youth soccer. The Boroughs (Netflix, Thursday, 3 a.m., series premiere) The Duffer Brothers trade a plucky band of preteens for a ragtag crew of retirement-home residents in their latest Netflix production. In this eight-part supernatural mystery created by Jeffrey Addis and Will Matthews (The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance<\/a>), a star-studded ensemble\u2014including Alfred Molina, Geena Davis, Alfre Woodard, Bill Pullman, Clarke Peters, and Denis O\u2019Hare\u2014 band together to stop a dark, otherworldly threat. (It\u2019s giving\u2026 The Golden Girls Go To Hawkins?) The A.V. Club\u2019s review drops on Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n Mating Season (Netflix, Friday, 3 a.m., series premiere) From the creators of Big Mouth comes the new adult animated comedy series Mating Season, which finds horned-up humor in the sexual and romantic exploits of a lovable herd of woodland creatures\u2014including Zach Woods as a bear named Josh, Nick Kroll as a raccoon named Ray, June Diane Raphael as a deer named Fawn, and Sabrina Jalees as a fox named Penelope\u2014as they search to find a partner and further their species. As it was with Big Mouth, Titmouse is the animation studio behind the Netflix newcomer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The Yogurt Shop Murders (HBO and HBO Max, Friday, 9 p.m., series finale) If you\u2019re experiencing television d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu, yes, this HBO true-crime doc did come out last August, but after a long nine-month wait, the Margaret Brown-directed series is getting its much-awaited conclusion with a 90-minute finale special. Entitled \u201cThe End of Wondering,\u201d the final installment will document the forensic breakthrough that connected serial killer Robert Eugene Brashers to the killing of four Austin teens back in 1991\u2014a real-life reveal that came less than a month after the original series concluded.
