(Image Credit: UNBC Timberwolves)<\/p>\n<p>By Elora McCormack<\/p>\n<p>UNBC Timberwolves add Edmonton<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\tMay 17, 2026 | 10:42 AM\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>PRINCE GEORGE \u2014 The University of Norther British Columbia (UNBC) Timberwolves Men\u2019s soccer team have added Edmonton midfielder Javier Socorro Fox to its 2026 recruiting class.<\/p>\n<p>Socorro Fox is joining the Timberwolves from Next Step Soccer and Louis St. Laurent High School, bringing a strong understanding of the game, leadership, and an impressive academic background.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJavi is a very cerebral and technical midfield player,\u201d said Steve Simonson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe has a great understanding of the game, good vision and awareness and a calmness that will help players around him. As he adjusts to the U SPORTS game, we believe he can become a very good midfield player at this level.
