The products were manufactured in China and sold through retail channels across the country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Health Canada is reminding consumers that recalled products must not be resold, redistributed or given away under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Z625JGNSAFADNA752QQ4BFSU2U.png\"  width=\"800\" height=\"450\"\/>Bambi &amp; Birdie Kids LTD children&#8217;s bamboo footed sleep sack Bambi &amp; Birdie Kids LTD children&#8217;s bamboo footed sleep sack Bambi &amp; Birdie Kids LTD sleep sack recalled over fire risk<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A separate <a href=\"https:\/\/recalls-rappels.canada.ca\/en\/alert-recall\/bambi-birdie-kids-ltd-children-s-bamboo-footed-sleep-sack-recalled-due-flammability\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/recalls-rappels.canada.ca\/en\/alert-recall\/bambi-birdie-kids-ltd-children-s-bamboo-footed-sleep-sack-recalled-due-flammability\">recall<\/a> has been issued for Bambi &amp; Birdie Kids LTD children\u2019s bamboo footed sleep sacks due to a similar flammability hazard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The affected product is a white sleep sack with black heart print available in sizes 6\u201312 months, 12\u201318 months and 2\u20133 years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The recall says the sleep sacks also fail to meet children\u2019s sleepwear flammability requirements and pose a potential burn risk if exposed to ignition sources.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the product and return it to Bambi &amp; Birdie Kids LTD for a full refund. The products were manufactured in China.<\/p>\n<p>FreezYums! sour gummy candy recalled due to metal pieces<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The CFIA is also warning consumers about a <a href=\"https:\/\/recalls-rappels.canada.ca\/en\/alert-recall\/freezyums-brand-freeze-dried-candy-sour-key-gummy-recalled-due-pieces-metal\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/recalls-rappels.canada.ca\/en\/alert-recall\/freezyums-brand-freeze-dried-candy-sour-key-gummy-recalled-due-pieces-metal\">recall<\/a> involving FreezYums! Freeze Dried Candy \u2013 Sour Key Gummy after pieces of metal were found in the product.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The recall applies to 63-gram packages with the Universal Product Code (UPC) 8 02962 38817 8 and lot code BB: 2026 NO 01 052025LOT1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to the agency, the presence of metal pieces in food poses a physical hazard that could lead to injury if consumed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Consumers are being told not to consume, use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The recall was issued by Osiris Inc. on May 11.<\/p>\n<p>Belecoo 3-in-1 baby stroller car seat flagged over injury risk<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">An <a href=\"https:\/\/recalls-rappels.canada.ca\/en\/alert-recall\/health-canada-warns-belecoo-car-seat-sold-3-1-baby-stroller-previously-available\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/recalls-rappels.canada.ca\/en\/alert-recall\/health-canada-warns-belecoo-car-seat-sold-3-1-baby-stroller-previously-available\">advisory warning <\/a>was issued about a Belecoo 3-in-1 baby stroller sold online through AliExpress that includes a car seat that may pose an injury risk in a collision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The advisory applies to the \u201cBelecoo 3 in 1 Baby Stroller with Car Seat. High Landscape Stroller Luxury Infant Stroller Set Newborn Baby Car Seat Trolley Pushchair.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/BH6DTFTX45AYJJABNYOTMCVFLA.jpeg\"  width=\"800\" height=\"800\"\/>Belecoo 3 in 1baby stroller Belecoo 3 in 1 Baby Stroller with Car Seat. High Landscape Stroller Luxury Infant Stroller Set Newborn Baby Car Seat Trolley Pushchair sold on AliExpress. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The advisory says the car seat does not display Transport Canada\u2019s National Safety Mark and has not been certified to meet Canadian safety regulations for motor vehicle restraint systems.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">As a result, its use in a vehicle could increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash and may be considered illegal under provincial and territorial highway laws.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Consumers are being told to immediately stop using the car seat and dispose of it so it cannot be used again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">AliExpress has removed the product from sale, according to Health Canada, but about 10 units were sold in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier recalls and safety alerts involving child products in Canada<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Two similar Health Canada recalls involving child safety products have recently been published.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Earlier this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/recalls-rappels.canada.ca\/en\/alert-recall\/health-canada-warns-infant-self-feeding-devices-previously-available-amazonca-may-pose\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/recalls-rappels.canada.ca\/en\/alert-recall\/health-canada-warns-infant-self-feeding-devices-previously-available-amazonca-may-pose\">Health Canada warned consumers about infant self-feeding devices <\/a>sold on Amazon.ca that posed a choking and breathing hazard.
