One taken to hospital after St. Vital house fire<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\tWinnipeg firefighters responded early Sunday morning to a St. Vital house fire that may have been caused by the home\u2019s electrical system.<\/p>\n
The fire broke out in a home in the 300 block of Greenwood Avenue just before 6 a.m. May 17. Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews fought the blaze and later declared the fire under control. Paramedics transported one person to hospital i stable condition.<\/p>\n
\u201cPreliminary observations suggest the fire was accidental and related to the home\u2019s electrical system. No damage estimates are available,\u201d the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service stated in a news release Monday.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
Woman, 43, and man, 41, dead in Langside St. home where fire broke out<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\tA 41-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were found dead inside a West End home that was the site of a house fire earlier this month.<\/p>\n
The Winnipeg Police Service released the ages of the two deceased on Monday as the Major Crimes Unit continues investigating the May 7 incident in the 500 block of Langside Street.<\/p>\n
Police are asking anyone with information or anyone who may have video footage from dashcams, security cameras or cell phone recordings from around the time of the incident to call the Major Crimes Unit at 204-986-6508 or anonymously at Crime Stoppers 204-786-8477 or winnipegcrimestoppers.org.<\/p>\n
The fire at the rental property at 584 Langside St. was reported just before 5 a.m. May 7. The blaze also spread to a nearby vacant building.
