A fire in a West End Winnipeg house earlier this month claimed the lives of two people, police say.<\/p>\n

A\u00a041-year-old man\u00a0and a\u00a043-year-old woman\u00a0were located dead inside the 2\u00bd-storey home on Langside Street, just south of Sargent Avenue.<\/p>\n

Police were called just before 5 a.m. on May 7 and fire crews were already on scene, trying to extinguish the flames which had also spread to a neighbouring vacant home.<\/p>\n
