WINNIPEG \u2013 Global commercial real estate adviser Avison Young in partnership with Cushman & Wakefield Winnipeg has announced the sale of the century-old hotel, space and conference centre known as the Fort Garry Hotel.<\/p>\n
Located at 222 Broadway, comprising nearly 60,000 square feet in meeting, spa and fitness space, the hotel offers 236 suites across 1.5 acres.<\/p>\n
It first opened in 1913 as the Canadian National (CN) Hotel and has been independently owned for over five decades; three decades under the current ownership.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It\u2019s in close proximity to the RBC Convention Centre, the Canada Life Centre, the Forks National Historic Site, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and Via Rail station.<\/p>\n
