\n\tAs James Gunn<\/a> and Peter Safran continue to build the DC Universe, there have been many questions surrounding Margot Robbie<\/a>\u2018s future in this new era.<\/p>\n

\n\tWith the release of Superman, all eyes have turned to the characters in the Batman universe and Harley Quinn.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe filmmaker and DC Studios<\/a> co-head was asked if Robbie would reprise her role of Harley Quinn, to which he told EW<\/a>, \u201cThat will be revealed down the line.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRobbie played the role of Harley Quinn in 2016\u2019s Suicide Squad and would reprise the role in 2020\u2019s Birds of Prey. When Gunn took over the villainous characters for 2021\u2019s The Suicide Squad, Quinn also returned.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlthough Gunn is working on rebooting the DC Universe, aspects of\u00a0The Suicide Squad\u00a0have become canon in the new universe, with John Cena\u2019s Peacemaker\u2019s story continuing in his HBO series.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnother character from the old universe Gunn is trying to bring over to the new universe is Bloodsport, played by Idris Elba.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI definitely am always looking for a place to put Bloodsport and figuring that out,\u201d Gunn told the publication. \u201cSo we\u2019ll see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGunn recently said he was busy working on a new script<\/a>, which would be the follow-up to his Superman film. The filmmaker made it clear it\u2019s not a direct sequel to the David Corenswet movie, but Superman would be heavily featured.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing the release of Superman in theaters, Gunn took a moment to express his gratitude to everyone<\/a> who watched the film.<\/p>\n
