Seye is joining the Bulldogs after spending her freshman season at the University of Central Florida.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSeye, a native of Drongen, Belgium, becomes the first signee for Mississippi State&#8217;s 2026 women&#8217;s tennis signing class.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nAfter joining the Knights for the 2025-26 season, Seye became a mainstay in UCF&#8217;s lineup. She posted a singles record of 19-11 while playing at #5 and #6. In doubles, playing primarily at the #2 spot, she compiled a 21-10 record. During the season, she earned a career-high doubles ranking of #50 in the Nov. 25, 2025 poll.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSeye helped UCF win its second consecutive Big 12 crown in 2026, while also earning the program&#8217;s 11th NCAA Tournament bid.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nPrior To UCF<br \/>\nCompeted in ITF Tournaments across Europe<br \/>\n2024 J200 Novi Sad: Reached the quarterfinals, defeating Sophia Sanders (USA) and Masa Tanaskovic (Serbia)<br \/>\n2024 J200 Castricum: Advanced to the semifinals, losing just one set across four matches<br \/>\n2023 J100 Liepaja: Runner-up after defeating several top European juniors<br \/>\n2023 J100 Neunkirchen: Won the doubles title with Latvian partner Beatrise Zeltina<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nQuoting Coach Hooshyar<br \/>\nI saw Lauren a few years ago in Europe, and I loved her fight and competitiveness. Lauren is a huge addition to our program, and I know the Bulldog community is going to love her fight.
