Challenger Leboy Atencio deserves significant praise for his brave and spirited performance, continually pressing the action and making the championship contest a memorable encounter for the fans in attendance.

However, it was the champion Wensong Liu who ultimately proved too strong as the rounds progressed. Liu systematically broke down his opponent with a relentless attack, particularly with a series of vicious and accurate body punches that gradually shifted the momentum firmly in his favour.

The sustained pressure and powerful body assault eventually forced the stoppage in the fifth round, allowing Liu to successfully defend his regional crown in emphatic fashion.

The victory further strengthens Wensong Liu’s standing within the featherweight division and continues his rise as one of the notable talents emerging from Chinese boxing on the regional stage.

Wensong Liu retains WBC Far East Championship strap in Bangkok Chinese boxing star Wensong Liu successfully retained his…

[447
703,49,48,82
post-680309","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-boxing","tag-boxing","tag-ca","tag-canada","tag-sports
["GET
