\u201cI just got genuinely ridiculed at the Fort Lauderdale airport,\u201d Cassidy, 27, said in a self-shot video shared with her 1.8 million TikTok<\/a> followers.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I\u2019m at the security line, and I gave the guy my passport. And they obviously do a photo of you, and if it matches your passport, you get the green light, and if it doesn\u2019t match your passport, you get the red light. And I got the red light because my photo, I guess, didn\u2019t match my appearance,\u201d she continued holding up her passport, which showed she had blonde hair in her picture.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe calls over a woman and looks at my passport, looks at me \u2026 and this woman, literally, keeps going on about how, \u2018This isn\u2019t (me). You\u2019re giving me somebody\u2019s else\u2019s passport,’\u201d Cassidy said fighting back tears.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe goes, \u2018New nose, new lips, something to your eyes, new hair,’\u201d the influencer continued. \u201cShe looks at my ID, she looks at my passport, she looks at me. She goes, \u2018One, two, three. Those are three different people.’\u201d<\/p>\n

As her voice began to crack, Cassidy said she was \u201cso f***ing embarrassed.\u201d<\/p>\n

The agent proceeded to call three of her colleagues over to look at her passport and one asked if she could show a work ID.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, \u2018I can pull up my Instagram. I don\u2019t know what to do,’\u201d she said exasperatedly. \u201cKeep in mind everyone in line behind is listening to this. I understand they\u2019re doing their job. At the same time. I think there\u2019s way better ways to handle things and word things,\u201d Cassidy said ending her message.<\/p>\n

What people said about Cassidy\u2019s post<\/p>\n

Cassidy\u2019s post, which she captioned, \u201cThere are other ways to speak to people. This was so embarrassing. I\u2019m just trying to fly home to see my sister graduate college,\u201d generated hundreds of comments, many of which sided with the TSA agents.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe woman is correct. She\u2019s just doing her job. The photo doesn\u2019t match,\u201d one person commented, while another added, \u201cI mean this in the best way, its time to update the picture on the passport. You\u2019re gorgeous in both but there\u2019s a lot of differences and if I didn\u2019t know better it does look like a different person. I\u2019m not saying how they treated you was okay, but I can see why they asked for additional IDs \u2026 you really have changed a bit since that photo.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not ridiculed,\u201d a third person observed, \u201cthis is someone doing their job.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey should\u2019ve been more polite about it but in the heat of the moment they were likely more concerned with the safety and security of their airport and keeping their jobs at a time when things are so unpredictable. They likely were not thinking of your feelings,\u201d a fourth person noted.<\/p>\n

Cassidy ready to date again<\/p>\n

Cassidy\u2019s post comes after she revealed that she is ready to date again after the death of her boyfriend Liam Payne in 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last month, the model and content creator posted a social media video informing her fans she was ready to open her heart again 18 months after Payne fell to his death from a hotel balcony in Argentina.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that love after loss is a big chapter within your grief journey and I don\u2019t know how that\u2019s gonna feel,\u201d she said in a TikTok<\/a> video. \u201cBut what I do know is that I loved being in love. I want to have kids one day. I want to have a family, and I know Liam would want that for me, and if the roles were reversed I would want him to be happy and fall in love again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cassidy said that she\u2019ll \u201calways love<\/a>\u201d the late One Direction singer.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat will never change, no matter who I meet and who comes into my life,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m going to think about Liam on my wedding day. I\u2019m going to think about him every day for the rest of my life, and that goes without saying.\u201d<\/p>\n
