Some of Matthew Perry\u2019s prized possessions will be auctioned nearly three years after the actor\u2019s tragic death<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bids are currently being placed for several of Perry\u2019s personal items, including the pilot and final episode scripts of \u201cFriends.\u201d<\/p>\n

The front page of the sitcom\u2019s pilot episode script from 1994 was signed by Perry\u2019s \u201cFriends\u201d co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer.<\/p>\n

The same actors signed the front page of Perry\u2019s final episode script in 2004.<\/p>\n

Heritage Auctions is selling a copy of Perry\u2019s pilot script from 1994 (as seen next to his Screen Actors Guild Award). AP<\/p>\n

Perry\u2019s estate is also auctioning off a 2005 Banksy painting of the \u201cGirl with Balloon,\u201d which is estimated to be worth $800,000, as well as another painting titled \u201cNola (Grey Rain)\u201d from the same artist that is valued at more than $40,000.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Perry\u2019s clothing, his personal guitars, jewelry, and his VHS and DVD collections of \u201cFriends,\u201d as well as other belongings, are all being auctioned.<\/p>\n

The items are being sold by\u00a0Heritage Auctions and the proceeds will go towards the Matthew Perry Foundation, which was established to combat the stigma surrounding substance use disorder.<\/p>\n

Perry was\u00a0found dead<\/a>\u00a0in his jacuzzi on Oct. 28, 2023. He was 54.<\/p>\n

A coroner later announced that the \u201c17 Again\u201d star\u00a0died from \u201cacute effects of ketamine.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition to the ketamine, the coroner listed drowning, coronary artery disease and buprenorphine effects as other conditions that contributed to his death.<\/p>\n

In 2024, federal prosecutors charged five people<\/a> with conspiracy and distribution of ketamine, causing Perry\u2019s death. <\/p>\n

Three of the defendants \u2014 Perry\u2019s live-in assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa; drug counselor Erik Fleming; and Dr. Mark Chavez \u2014 agreed to plead guilty<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The following year, the other two defendants, Dr. Salvador Plasencia and Jasveen Sangha, also known as the \u201cKetamine Queen,\u201d<\/a> pleaded guilty to charges<\/a> related to Perry\u2019s passing.<\/p>\n

Sangha was given the largest sentence out of the five convicted people, receiving 15 years in federal prison for operating a drug trafficking business and supplying Perry\u2019s fatal dose.<\/p>\n

Dr. Plasencia was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison, while Dr. Chavez was sentenced to eight months of house arrest for cooperating with prosecutors.<\/p>\n

Fleming received a sentence of two years in federal prison and three years of supervised release.<\/p>\n
