{"id":684086,"date":"2026-05-21T12:11:08","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T12:11:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/684086\/"},"modified":"2026-05-21T12:11:08","modified_gmt":"2026-05-21T12:11:08","slug":"renderings-unveiled-for-torontos-805-wellington-st-w-mixed-income-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/684086\/","title":{"rendered":"Renderings unveiled for Toronto\u2019s 805 Wellington St. W. mixed-income project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TORONTO \u2013 The vision for an affordable housing community at <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.constructconnect.com\/details\/7100081-805-wellington-street-west-affordable-housing-buildings&amp;find_loc=ON-M5V-1G8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">805 Wellington St. W.<\/a> in Toronto has been revealed.<\/p>\n<p>According to CreateTO, the project, also known as 53 Strachan Ave., would deliver a mixed-income community with purpose-built rental homes as well as the heritage conservation of the existing Garrison Flats community garden on the 1.4-acre site.<\/p>\n<p>The actual building located onsite is The Strachan House, which was formerly home to a supportive housing program operated by the Homes First Society.
