{"id":687276,"date":"2026-05-22T22:27:08","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T22:27:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/687276\/"},"modified":"2026-05-22T22:27:08","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T22:27:08","slug":"highway-closed-heavy-delays-following-crash-north-of-brampton-police-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/687276\/","title":{"rendered":"HIGHWAY CLOSED: \u2018Heavy\u2019 delays following crash north of Brampton, police say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police say drivers north of Brampton can expect long delays following a crash that\u2019s led to a highway closure.<\/p>\n<p>The OPP said shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Friday that Highway 10 in Caledon has been closed in both directions between Charleston Sideroad and Olde Baseline Road.<\/p>\n<p>Police say there was a collision and that drivers \u201cshould expect heavy traffic delays.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One adult suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to hospital in stable condition, a spokesperson with Peel Regional Paramedic Services told INsauga.com.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators haven\u2019t said how many vehicles were involved. Drivers in the area are being asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">ROAD CLOSURE: Highway 10 is closed in both directions between Charleston Sideroad and Olde Baseline Road in Caledon due to a collision. The extent of injuries is not known at this time.
