{"id":690472,"date":"2026-05-24T11:11:37","date_gmt":"2026-05-24T11:11:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/690472\/"},"modified":"2026-05-24T11:11:37","modified_gmt":"2026-05-24T11:11:37","slug":"man-killed-in-collision-after-allegedly-driving-into-back-of-parked-water-truck","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/690472\/","title":{"rendered":"Man killed in collision after allegedly driving into back of parked water truck"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Winnipeg police say a man has died after allegedly driving into a parked water truck on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded to a report of a collision around 12:30 p.m. on May 22 on Cavalier Drive, north of Hillary Crescent.<\/p>\n<p>WFPS also attended the scene and extracted the 49-year-old driver from a 2020 Hyundai Kona, but he had suffered serious injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
