1 killed in early morning Lower Mainland crash<\/p>\n

It\u2019s still unclear why a vehicle crashed into a Langley City shed, and why one person is deceased, but investigators are on scene.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred Sunday, May 24, just minutes before 2 a.m.<\/p>\n
Langley RCMP, firefighters, and paramedics were all dispatched to the area just sout of 203 Street, where it crosses Grade Crescent and turns up onto 48 Avenue.<\/p>\n
They were responding to reports of a single-vehicle collision where the truck crashed into a yard and shed on 48 Avenue, confirmed Langley RCMP\u2019s Sgt. Zynal Sharoom.<\/p>\n
\u201cSadly, despite the rapid response and efforts of first responders, one individual was pronounced deceased at the scene,\u201d Sharoom confirmed.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe circumstances surrounding the collision are still being examined, and investigators are working to determine the factors involved,\u201d he elaborated, noting the Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) was deployed to assist with the investigation.<\/p>\n
