Martin Scorsese\u2019s youngest daughter, Francesca Scorsese, clapped back at internet trolls making hurtful comments on her looks.<\/p>\n
Francesca, 26, shared in a TikTok video<\/a> Saturday that after she re-posted news that she\u2019s landed a role on season 2 of Prime Video\u2019s \u201cMr. & Mrs. Smith,\u201d she was subjected to a barrage of hateful comments.<\/p>\n \u201cIt has some of the worst comments I have ever seen about me,\u201d\u00a0she noted, explaining that while she was used to being criticized over being a \u201cnepo baby,\u201d the hate was on a level she had not yet experienced.<\/p>\n \u201cI understand. I know I have doors opened for me,\u201d she said of Scorsese being her father. \u201cLike, I\u2019m still trying to do the work, I\u2019m still going hard and being passionate and creating and doing the work.\u201d<\/p>\n Martin Scorsese\u2019s daughter Francesca took to TikTok to address cruel trolls criticizing her looks. TikTok\/francescascorsese<\/p>\n Francesca shared that she got a barrage of hateful comments after re-posting the news that she\u2019s landed a role in season 2 of Prime Video\u2019s \u201cMr. & Mrs. Smith.\u201d TikTok\/francescascorsese<\/p>\n \u201cBut I think if you go on people\u2019s videos and you seek out negativity, you are a very, very sad person,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n Francesca repeated some of the cruel comments being said about her, including people calling her \u201cfat\u201d and \u201cugly\u201d and even going so far as to compare her to a \u201cfridge\u201d or call her \u201cMiss Piggy.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI get it \u2014 I\u2019m not the most beautiful girl in the world. I\u2019m not the skinniest girl in the whole world. I\u2019m chubby, I know it. But like, what the f\u2013k does it matter?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n Francesca shared that she had already deleted X because of the negativity and bad comments she was subjected to on the social media platform, but now she felt TikTok was becoming the same.<\/p>\n Francesca acknowledged that she understands the hate that comes with being a \u201cnepo baby.\u201d She\u2019s seen here with her father in January 2024. I just want TikTok to be a better place like I feel like it used to be.\u201d<\/p>\n Scorsese, 83, talked about welcoming Francesca later in life<\/a> on SiriusXM\u2019s\u00a0\u201cThis Life of Mine with James Corden,\u201d\u00a0in February 2024. The legendary director shares Francesca with his wife, Helen Morris, and he has two older daughters \u2014 Cathy, 60, and Domenica, 49 \u2014 whom he shares with ex-wives Laraine Marie Brennan and Julia Cameron, respectively.<\/p>\n Francesca noted that her father was always going to \u201covershadow\u201d her as a person, but wanted TikTok to be a kinder place.
