{"id":692477,"date":"2026-05-25T11:07:12","date_gmt":"2026-05-25T11:07:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/692477\/"},"modified":"2026-05-25T11:07:12","modified_gmt":"2026-05-25T11:07:12","slug":"millennial-internet-cartoon-homestar-runner-is-coming-to-walkabout-mini-golf-in-june-dlc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/692477\/","title":{"rendered":"Millennial Internet Cartoon &#8216;Homestar Runner&#8217; is Coming to &#8216;Walkabout Mini Golf&#8217; in June DLC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Walkabout Mini Golf (2020)\u00a0is getting a DLC drop next month that will bring early 2000s flash cartoon sensation <a href=\"https:\/\/homestarrunner.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Homestar Runner <\/a>to the game on June 25th.<\/p>\n<p>Developer Mighty Coconut says the \u2018Homestar Runner Distraction Pack\u2019 isn\u2019t the usual DLC drop, which typically includes a new course.<\/p>\n<p>Working with series creators The Brothers Chaps, the upcoming DLC is instead an avatar and mini-game add-on which brings the series\u2019 cast of characters to the game: Strong Bad and Homestar Runner,\u00a0 along with cosmetics and other character appearances.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Mighty Coconut calls it \u201ca takeover of Walkabout by Strong Bad and friends featuring designs, in-game character appearances, voice-acting, and much more directly from The Brothers Chaps.
