Shad Canada<\/a>.<\/p>\nHosted in partnership with 20 Canadian universities,\u00a0Shad Canada\u00a0is a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) and entrepreneurship program for students in Grades 10 and 11 that offers an opportunity for students to live on campus, attend seminars, labs and workshops, and interact with faculty and experts.<\/p>\n
The 47 students \u2013 from \u00c9cole Earl Marriott, Elgin Park, Fleetwood Park, Fraser Heights, Grandview Heights, Johnston Heights, \u00c9cole Kwantlen Park, Queen Elizabeth, Semiahmoo and Sullivan Heights secondary schools \u2013 are among students from across the country to earn a spot with Shad. Applicants are selected based on their well-roundedness, academics, creativity, innovation and extra-curricular involvement.<\/p>\n
