LAS VEGAS (KSNV) \u2014 Racing fans now have the option to purchase a single-day ticket for Formula 1 starting Thursday, 8\/14 at 10a.m.<\/p>\n

This year, the focus of the Las Vegas Grand Prix seems to be focused on appealing to locals to make it more affordable compared to 2024.<\/p>\n

Last year, tickets for F1 started at $250 for a single-day ticket. For a family of four, that would cost $1000.<\/p>\n

This year, single-day tickets are starting as low as $50. That means if you have a family of four, that will cost you $200.<\/p>\n

IN 2022, the U.S. Census Bureau estimates the median annual income for a household in Las Vegas to be just under $67,000. Not many would be able to afford the tickets from last year.<\/p>\n

Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority President Steve Hill said, <\/p>\n

I think the price points for the tickets, the adjustment where they were largely reduced about a third has been really helpful not only for just selling more tickets but actually generating more revenue.<\/p>\n

Hill doubled on the decrease. Essentially, calling it a positive for locals, some of whom can now enjoy this experience without having to break the bank.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited about that.
