Katy Perry<\/a> praised the Air Canada<\/a> cabin crew on her recent flight from Montreal to Los Angeles after witnessing their response to a medical emergency.<\/p>\n

The 41-year-old singer said she watched \u201ca medical emergency happen on the plane\u201d while on the Air Canada flight from Montr\u00e9al-Trudeau International Airport.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was so impressed with the level of attentiveness and quick action from the crew that I just want to highlight the level of professionalism and consideration they had for the passenger,\u201d the\u00a0Last Friday Night\u00a0singer wrote in a May 23 post on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe medical situation was resolved on the flight and everyone left ok. Good for you @AirCanada.\u201d<\/p>\n

Perry did not mention the exact details of the medical emergency.<\/p>\n

Air Canada responded to Perry\u2019s post<\/a>, writing, \u201cThank you Katy, we will make sure to send your kind words to the team onboard. We are sure they will be more than happy to see this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Global News has reached out to Air Canada for further comment but has not received a response.<\/p>\n

Perry was spotted in Montreal last week with former prime minister Justin Trudeau<\/a>. The two have been romantically linked since July 2025, when they were spotted eating together<\/a> at upscale Montreal restaurant Le Violon in the city\u2019s Le Plateau neighbourhood.<\/p>\n

In the roundup, captioned \u201cHolidaze,\u201d Perry shared a photo of Trudeau smiling as he swam in the ocean.<\/p>\n

Trudeau was accompanied by Perry that same month as he spoke about the importance of \u201csoft power\u201d in geopolitics<\/a> at the World Economic Forum in Davos<\/a>, Switzerland.<\/p>\n

The internet was quick to react to a\u00a0series of images and videos<\/a>\u00a0shared by the\u00a0California Gurls\u00a0singer, which included a clip of the pair enjoying Justin Bieber\u2019s<\/a> headlining performance, alongside the caption \u201cheat checkin\u2019 these chickens,\u201d a reference to a lyric from the Stratford, Ont.-born artist\u2019s song Speed Demon,\u00a0among other pictures of the two soaking in the festival.<\/p>\n

More recently, Perry shared photos on Instagram<\/a> at the beginning of May, with the first image showing her and Trudeau arm in arm, looking out at the water in San Francisco, Calif.<\/p>\n

The carousel also included a selfie of the couple and a photo of a jar of pickles with the label, \u201cKaty & Justin\u2019s Pop + Policy Pickles.\u201d<\/p>\n
