{"id":693286,"date":"2026-05-25T20:05:11","date_gmt":"2026-05-25T20:05:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/693286\/"},"modified":"2026-05-25T20:05:11","modified_gmt":"2026-05-25T20:05:11","slug":"rear-end-crash-leaves-victim-seriously-injured-north-of-brampton-police-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/693286\/","title":{"rendered":"Rear-end crash leaves victim seriously injured north of Brampton, police say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police are investigating after two vehicles were rear-ended in a crash north of Brampton.<\/p>\n<p>The three-vehicle collision happened around 2 p.m. on Friday on Highway 10 in Caledon between Escarpment Side Road and Travelled Road, the OPP says.<\/p>\n<p>A commercial vehicle was stopped on the shoulder of the road next to a stationary passenger vehicle, and police say both vehicles were struck from behind by a second commercial vehicle. Police say one victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries in the crash.<\/p>\n<p>Highway 10 was closed for several hours between Charleston Side Road and Olde Base Line Road, and police say the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the incident is asked to contact Caledon OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
