Sunday\u2019s sold-out show drew a crowd of 50,000 fans. Among them was one concert-goer who told Now Toronto he flew in from Winnipeg just to see Mars perform live.<\/p>\n
He said the trip was an easy decision because Mars\u2019 music has always meant a lot to him.<\/p>\n
\u201cSince I was a kid, I\u2019ve always listened to him\u2026 he\u2019s very important to me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Another fan attending her first Bruno Mars concert said his stage presence sets him apart from other artists.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just think he has that charisma,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
One concert-goer who travelled from Dundas, Ont., rated his excitement level an eight out of 10, though he noted there was room for improvement when it came to venue access.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe venue is nice, but they need to fix the way they get everyone into the area. Once you get here, though, it\u2019s great,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Another fan said she was thrilled because it was her first time seeing Mars live, while another attendee revealed Sunday\u2019s concert marked her fourth Bruno Mars show.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is the best entertainer all around. The whole night, you\u2019re just jumping,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
She also praised Rogers Stadium, despite it being her first visit to the venue.<\/p>\n
\u201cEverything went really smoothly. You don\u2019t feel crowded, it\u2019s huge, it\u2019s great, we\u2019ll definitely come back,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
One family told Now Toronto they had flown in from Edmonton for Saturday\u2019s now-rescheduled show, but that didn\u2019t stop them from finding tickets for Sunday night instead.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen I was younger, my aunt was the one who introduced me to Bruno Mars. We used to do birthday songs for her, we would dance, it was fun,\u201d one family member said while reflecting on the singer\u2019s importance to their family.<\/p>\n
