Youth and kids can run, jump, climb and develop their strength and confidence through Ninja, Parkour and Rock Wall course programs in Brampton.<\/p>\n

Located at the Ken Giles Recreation Centre, the rock wall and ninja parkour obstacle courses offer youth between the ages of six to 17 a way to stay fit while getting involved in new and exciting sports.<\/p>\n

The Ninja Parkour Obstacle Course Program is a level\u2011based training experience \u201cdesigned to build skills progressively.\u201d<\/p>\n

Participants start in Level 1 and may advance to Level 2, based on skill progression and instructor recommendation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough guided instruction and increasingly challenging obstacles, youth develop confidence, strength and technique as they work toward long\u2011term growth,\u201d the city says of the program.<\/p>\n

Younger participants between the age of four and six can also participate in \u201ca general, non\u2011levelled program that encourages active play and foundational movement skills.\u200b\u200b\u201d<\/p>\n

There are drop-in slots and summer camps available, and all participants under the age of 10 must have a registered adult with them on the floor for the entirety of the drop-in session.<\/p>\n

All participants require lean indoor, closed toe running shoes, and clothing with no strings. Long hair must be tied back, and there is a minimum weight restriction of 30 lbs.<\/p>\n
