Police confirmed that a family were victims of a targeted robbery but did not identify Prost, 71, or any other family members involved.<\/p>\n
\u201cSeveral masked individuals entered the house,\u201d police said in a statement. \u201cOnce inside, they threatened the occupants and slightly injured one family member in the head.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cops added that \u201cthe perpetrators then forced another family member to open a safe before fleeing,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n
Search on for robbers<\/p>\n
A \u201clarge-scale search operation\u201d was launched involving police in Switzerland and France as well as border security, as Nyon lies on the shores of Lake Geneva, which sits between the two countries.<\/p>\n
A psychological support team has also been provided to the family, police said.<\/p>\n

Contacted by AFP on Saturday, a Vaud police spokesman said the investigation was still ongoing but could not reveal whether any arrests had been made.<\/p>\n
