Google Search used to feel like a clean list of links. Now half the screen is taken up by AI summaries and sponsored results that try to answer your question before you can even reach a real website. If you\u2019re tired of fighting through all of that, try udm14.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The site is built around a simple Google Search parameter called \u201cudm=14.\u201d This little trick tells Google to strip away AI Overviews and most of the extra clutter, leaving behind a more old-school list of search results. Go to the udm14 site and use its search bar just like you would Google Search. It automatically redirects you to a cleaner version of your Google Search query.<\/p>\n

Be aware that any proxy site like this could potentially read all of your search queries; however there is currently no indication that udm14.com is doing this. If you don\u2019t trust proxy sites, then you have another option. You can just manually add \u201c&udm=14\u201d to the end of a Google search URL and get the same effect directly through Google itself.<\/p>\n

The trick first gained traction among people frustrated with how bloated Google Search has become. Instead of getting detailed and nuanced answers from forums, blogs, and niche sites, users often end up wading through AI-generated summaries that can be inaccurate or unhelpful. Udm14 cuts through that noise.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, if you\u2019ve had it altogether with the recent Google AI takeover, then you could always switch to the anti-AI search engine Bing<\/a> instead.<\/p>\n
