That\u2019s right, fat people,\u201d the self-proclaimed fat activist said in her post. \u201cI personally find this really upsetting because plus sizes, and not selling them at Walmart, seems really silly to me. I feel like that\u2019s somewhere, historically, we\u2019ve always found plus sizes.\u201d<\/p>\n Ixim also accused Musgraves of excluding overweight shoppers when she teamed up with Reformation in 2024.<\/p>\n \u201cThere was extended sizes but with three designs instead of the entire line,\u201d she claimed. \u201cI\u2019m upset.\u201d<\/p>\n Your Midday Sun<\/p>\n Thanks for signing up!<\/p>\n Article content<\/p>\n Advertisement 3<\/p>\n This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.<\/p>\n Article content<\/p>\n Ixim tagged Musgraves in her video, writing, \u201cI just think your plus-size fans (of) which there are MANY deserve more @spaceykacey.\u201d<\/p>\n The Grammy winner responded to Ixim\u2019s rant on Instagram, writing, \u201cHiii not in my control at all. Sorry you\u2019re disappointed. Hope this helps!\u201d<\/p>\n Some of her followers sided with Ixim\u2019s assessment. \u201cHuge celebrities trying to say they have no control over things like sizing is f***ing laughable,\u201d one user wrote. \u201cHow about, \u2018Make everything available for fat girls or I\u2019ll take my name and collection elsewhere.’\u201d<\/p>\n Another called Musgraves\u2019 reply \u201ccrazy.\u201d<\/p>\n On Reddit, Musgraves was called \u201ccondescending\u201d with one writing<\/a>:\u00a0\u201cThe way this response could have been respectful, but she went out of her way to make it rude \ud83e\udee9\u2026 Recognize the issue and apologize to the fans who were left out. That\u2019s literally it.\u201d<\/p>\n But others defended the singer, including one fan who said, \u201cIf you can\u2019t fit into a particular brand, move on or lose weight. You\u2019re just looking for attention.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe woman was kind of snarky, so I suppose Kacey thought she should be snarky in kind,\u201d someone else wrote.<\/p>\n Musgraves seemed to infuriate Ixim even more<\/p>\n After Musgraves\u2019 feedback, Ixim called her explanation \u201cdisingenuous\u201d and said she would no longer support the musical artist.<\/p>\n \u201cAs the person who is the entire reason and face of this launch, it feels like this would be something you could push back on,\u201d Ixim wrote. \u201cYour plus-size fans love you and we want to have our moment in the sun supporting you.\u201d<\/p>\n With Ixim\u2019s video racking up thousands of views and becoming a talking point online, she returned to social media to accuse Musgraves of brushing off her complaints.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m the woman Kacey Musgraves basically told this week to go f*** herself \u2026 Initially, pretty cool to get a response. Until I realized how absolutely condescending this response was to me, our plus-size community, and her fans,\u201d she said in a follow-up video to her 134,000 followers on Instagram. \u201cWas I absolutely surprised to have this response from a media-trained pop star who should know better?
