BALDWIN \u2013 Nadia Kelly recently completed her sophomore season for Baldwin varsity soccer, and it was indeed a fun one.<\/p>\n
She was in her second season of soccer and played midfielder and forward. Her objective was to score, but Kelly admitted that scoring had been a challenge.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were working really hard,\u201d she said earlier in the season. \u201cBut we have been progressing.\u201d<\/p>\n
The key to scoring, Kelly said, \u201cis communication and driving it down the field.\u201d<\/p>\n
It was the second year of the program, and Kelly was able to see plenty of progression.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re doing a lot better,\u201d Kelly said. \u201cThere\u2019s been a lot of improvement.\u201d<\/p>\n
Players like Kelly knew more about where to be on the field at certain times.<\/p>\n
Cheerleading was Kelly\u2019s other activity, but she especially enjoyed playing soccer.<\/p>\n
\u201cI like it because of the adrenaline and how open the field is,\u201d Kelly said.<\/p>\n
She was looking forward to scoring a goal.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt would be so much fun,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
