(Image Credit: Submitted)<\/p>\n<p>By Susan McNeil<\/p>\n<p>Spring melt 2026<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\tMay 27, 2026 | 4:49 PM\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Cameco\u2019s McArthur River mine and Key Lake mill in northern Saskatchewan are back at full production after spring flooding disrupted operations earlier this month.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The company\u00a0made the announcement Wednesday afternoon and said neither operation\u2019s 2026 output will be affected by the closures.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On May 10, Cameco announced that spring flooding had <a href=\"https:\/\/panow.com\/2026\/05\/11\/cameco-halts-production-at-key-lake-mill-as-bridge-collapse-impedes-supply-route\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">affected its ability to operat<\/a>e, with the washout of the Smoothstone River bridge a key factor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The bridge is part of the main transport route Cameco uses to haul product to market.
