The Moose are done. We will still try to get you anything relevant to the pro hockey clubs of Manitoba during the next little bit. Of course the big focus is on the 2026 NHL Draft for which the Jets hold the 8th overall selection. We will be spending\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/illegalcurve.com\/who-could-be-available-for-the-winnipeg-jets-at-8th-overall-in-the-nhl-draft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">quite a bit of time learning about the players<\/a>\u00a0who could hear their name get called by Winnipeg at the end of June.<\/p>\n<p>Note II: All five Jets players at the World Championships will be in action today in the quarter-finals. Mark Scheifele, Gabriel Vilardi and Dylan DeMelo (Canada) take on the USA which starts at 9 AM on TSN while Ville Heinola (Finland) will be up against Czechia also at that time. Nino Niederreiter (Switzerland) faces off against Sweden which starts at 1 PM CT on TSN.<\/p>\n<p>Note III: <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ICdave\/status\/2059841840744956280\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">This guy<\/a> is just one win away from the Stanley Cup Final. Plenty of folks in Winnipeg will be happy to see that happen for Nikolaj Ehlers, who had two assists in a 4-0 Game 4 win for Carolina (along with those cheering for Seth Jarvis).<\/p>\n<p>Jets news:<\/p>\n<p>Global News: <a href=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/news\/11869701\/analysis-winnipeg-jets-dont-require-change-between-the-pipes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Winnipeg Jets don\u2019t require change between the pipes<\/a>. No question that one area we aren\u2019t expecting to talk about this season is in goal.
