Jennifer Lopez revealed she’s been ‘crying for two months’ as her twins, Max and Emme, 18, prepare to leave for college<\/p>\n

Lopez shared the news on the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, released Wednesday, May 27<\/p>\n

The singer and actress shares her twins with ex-husband, Marc Anthony<\/p>\n

Jennifer Lopez<\/a> is feeling emotional about her kids leaving the nest.<\/p>\n

On the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a>, released Wednesday, May 27, the singer and actress, 56, revealed she’s been crying as her 18-year-old twins Max and Emme, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony<\/a>, prepare for college.<\/p>\n

\u201cTomorrow one of them graduates [high school],\u201d she told host Jimmy Kimmel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lopez then joked, \u201cDon’t talk about it cause we start crying.\u201d<\/p>\n

Asked if she’d cry at the ceremony, the \u201cIf You Had My Love\u201d artist replied, \u201cYeah.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI’ve been crying for two months,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

Kimmel then jokingly asked, \u201cWill you look around at the other parents and see who’s not crying and think, \u2018I love my children more than they do?’ \u201d<\/p>\n

Falling into laughter, Lopez replied, \u201cNo. I think all the parents are going to be crying at some point.”<\/p>\n

Speaking about whether it was inconvenient that her children attend different schools, the proud mom said, \u201cIt’s fine. I want them to be happy, go where they want to go and do what they want to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lopez also revealed that they would be going to different colleges.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wonder because there’s a commotion everywhere you go, will you be able to move them into their dorms?,\u201d Kimmel asked, to which Lopez replied, “Absolutely.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou’ll go to Target with them and buy them sheets?” Kimmel continued lightheartedly.<\/p>\n

Lopez then added, \u201cYeah, we have sheets at the house. We’re gonna pack up their rooms here and they’re going to take all the things they want to take to their dorm.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Kiss of the Spider Woman actress joked that her twins would then realize \u201ctheir dorms are too small and that they’re going to miss home, I hope, and want to come back real soon!\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Lopez went on to say that she remembers being excited to go out into the world and \u201cdo my thing\u201d at Max and Emme’s ages.<\/p>\n

She then recalled that people would ask her about her twins leaving for college, adding that she’d reply, \u201cIt’s going to be great. I want them to go out there, I want them to do what they want to do. They have big dreams. They have things they want to do. It’s going to be great.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then like two months ago, I had to write the little thing for the yearbook or whatever the heck thing that they make you write,\u201d she continued. \u201cWhen I tell you the tears. Two days, it took me to write those things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel asked, \u201cDo you write two different things, or since they’re twins, you just put the same thing?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, Jimmy, no. They’re two different people,\u201d Lopez laughed.<\/p>\n
