(Mikaela Mackenzie \/ Free Press files)<\/p>\n<p>This year, 711 roads across 69 municipalities were nominated for the top spot in the campaign, which runs every spring and asks people to identify the worst roadways in their community. The release says there is an even split between rural and urban roads on the list.<\/p>\n<p>The top-10 worst roads in Manitoba this year are:<\/p>\n<p>Provincial Trunk Highway 34 \u2014 Central Plains\/Pembina Valley<br \/>\nProvincial Road 307 \u2014 Whiteshell<br \/>\nKenaston Boulevard\/Route 90 \u2014 Winnipeg<br \/>\nSaskatchewan Avenue \u2014 Winnipeg<br \/>\nRichmond Avenue \u2014 Brandon<br \/>\nGateway Road \u2014 Winnipeg<br \/>\nLeila Avenue \u2014 Winnipeg<br \/>\n1st Street \u2014 Brandon<br \/>\nProvincial Road 422 \u2014 Pembina Valley<br \/>\nSt. Mary\u2019s Road \u2014 Winnipeg<\/p>\n<p>The most common concerns cited were potholes, poor maintenance and uneven road surfaces. In 2024, 18th Street in Brandon was bestowed with the title of Manitoba\u2019s worst road.
