Global Custodian is delighted to announce the winners of its\u00a0fourth\u00a0annual Leaders in Custody Asia awards, held at Raffles in Singapore last night.\u202f\u00a0

Deutsche Bank won\u00a0four awards on the evening, while\u00a0BNP Paribas, BNY, HSBC, Mizuho, Standard Chartered\u00a0and State Street\u00a0netted a hat-trick of honours.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

DBS, ICBC\u00a0and\u00a0Northern Trust\u00a0were among the organisations to pick up two awards.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n

The event celebrated the outstanding securities services providers across the Asia Pacific region, including those who have excelled in Global Custodian\u2019s Agent Bank surveys, alongside our Editors\u2019 Choice,\u00a0Innovation\u00a0and Individual honours.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n

In our Editors\u2019 Choice segment, BNY took home the Global Custodian of the Year Asia award, while JP Morgan scooped Deal of the Year for the second year running for its mandate with Singapore\u2019s Income Insurance Limited.<\/p>\n

State Street was recognised for its partnership with Daiwa and its landmark acquisition of Mizuho\u2019s offshore securities services business. The custodian also picked up ETF Administrator of the Year based on Global Custodian\u2019s survey data.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Apex Group secured Fund Administrator of the Year for APAC.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Northern Trust also picked up double honours for its innovation and technology efforts in the Asia Pacific region.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fintech of the Year went to\u00a0Proxymity\u00a0\u2013 making it a London and Singapore double this month \u2013 while BBH won Fund Services\u00a0Deal of the Year,\u00a0for its work with\u00a0ICBC UBS Asset Management.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Mizuho Bank, ICBC\u00a0and DBS Bank were among the standout winners in the survey categories, alongside MUFG and HSBC.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"Deutsche Bank was crowned Agent Bank of the Year: Overall for the second year running, alongside recognition for Emerging Markets.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Standard\u00a0Chartered\u00a0won\u00a0Agent Bank of the Year:\u00a0Frontier Markets, while the major markets honour went to Mizuho.<\/p>\n

Individual honours saw State Street\u2019s Jason Rich and NSE Clearing\u2019s\u00a0Vikram Kothari\u00a0inducted in Global Custodian\u2019s Hall of Fame.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
