Quincy McComeau, missing from the photo, also boxed in the event.<a href=\"https:\/\/medicinehatnews.com\/sports\/local-sports\/2026\/05\/29\/boxing-club-finishes-season-with-calgary-bout\/mailto:sports@medicinehatnews.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">sports@medicinehatnews.com<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MedicineHatNews\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">@MedicineHatNews <\/a><br \/>\nThe Medicine Hat Boxing Club sent three fighters to Calgary last weekend.<br \/>\nNoah Wiens, Mardik Kasarjian and Quincy McComeau boxed at an event in Calgary hosted by Calgary Boxing Club.<br \/>\nWiens boxed Rishma Mathara from Alliance Saskatoon in the 75kg youth, losing what coach Kerry Fahlman called a very close decision. Kasarjian soundly defeated Joey Marino from Spruce Grove in the Youth kg. McComeau defeated Gurman Singh from Chestermere in the Elite 65 kg division by unanimous decision.<br \/>\nThe Boxing Club is now closed for summer and opening back up in September.<br \/>\n6<br \/> -5\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\t<script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"By MEDICINE HAT NEWS on May 29, 2026.
