Remember 2013? It was the age of \u201cGet Lucky,\u201d Modern Vampires of the City<\/a>, Yeezus<\/a>\u2026and an infamous Chief Keef<\/a> and Katy Perry<\/a> X-ne\u00e9-Twitter feud. Whether you recall that last piece of music history or not, the two artists on either side of it do\u2014and now, they\u2019ve decided to lay their decade-plus-old swords aside on a new version of Perry\u2019s song, \u201cLegendary Lovers.\u201d Listen to \u201cLegendary Lovers (Save Me)\u201d below.<\/p>\n

To back up a little, the rapper and singer-slash-amateur-astronaut<\/a> got into their online scuffle over a 2013 post Perry shared about Keef\u2019s song \u201cHate Being Sober,\u201d the title of which she said made her \u201chave serious doubt for the world.\u201d After the rapper responded with a threat to \u201csmack<\/a>\u201d Perry, she apologized<\/a> for offending him, noting: \u201cI was really just having a general opinion on our generations\u2026desire to be constantly intoxicated.\u201d In turn, the rapper apologized<\/a> for his own response, and the dialogue seemed to wrap up there.<\/p>\n

Not quite! Cut to yesterday, May 27, and Perry and Keef were spotted hanging out<\/a> (and even exchanging a hug) after she attempted to \u201csummon<\/a>\u201d him on TikTok. The same day, Perry also shared a video<\/a> of her dapping up the rapper set to \u201cLegendary Lovers\u201d with the caption: \u201cLegendary link-up.\u201d \u201cLegendary Lovers\u201d originally appeared on Perry\u2019s album Prism.<\/p>\n

Perry shared her most recent album, 143<\/a>, in 2024. Keef\u2019s latest project, Skeletor<\/a>, arrived in April.<\/p>\n
