Toronto police say they have arrested and charged a second suspect in shootings at two synagogues that drew widespread condemnation. <\/p>\n

Police say the first incident occurred at the Beth Avraham Yoseph of Toronto synagogue in Vaughan, Ont., shortly before midnight on March 6.<\/p>\n

They say shots were also fired at Shaarei Shomayim synagogue in Toronto\u2019s north end later that night. <\/p>\n

Investigators say no injuries were reported in both cases, but the buildings were damaged by gunfire. <\/p>\n

The first suspect, an 18-year-old male, was arrested earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Police say the second suspect, a 17-year-old male from Waterloo, Ont., was taken into custody after a search warrant was carried out at a home in nearby Cambridge on Wednesday. <\/p>\n

The teen has been charged with two counts of reckless discharge of a firearm, among other offences.<\/p>\n
