\"Tanishaa While Farah Khan<\/a> is known for directing movies like ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Main Hoon Na’ after being one of the best choreographers in the industry, she’s loved for her cooking vlogs with chef Dilip ever since she started her Youtube<\/a> channel. In the recent episode, Farah visited Tanishaa Mukerji<\/a>\u2019s home. The house, owned by the daughter of veteran actor Tanuja and sister of Kajol, impressed Farah with its blend of old Kolkata nostalgia and Turkish-inspired aesthetics.Looking around in admiration, Farah said, \u201cI am loving this vibe. You cannot find a house like this in Mumbai. I feel like I have arrived in Kolkata.\u201dThe spacious living area featured heavy wooden furniture, antique lamps, glass d\u00e9cor accents and earthy beige-brown interiors, while two striking red sofas added a bold touch to the room.As the tour continued, Farah admired the elegant iron-and-wood staircase and joked, \u201cYou should wear a gown and make an entrance every morning.\u201dThe filmmaker was equally fascinated by the antique-style round glass dining table and curiously asked, \u201cDo you all have family gatherings here?\u201d Tanishaa responded with a smile, \u201cYes.\u201dDuring their conversation, Farah mentioned that several members of the Mukherjee family, including filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, live nearby. Tanishaa added that the sons of legendary actor Joy Mukherjee also stay in the same lane. Calling the family a \u201cprestigious lineage,\u201d Farah praised Tanishaa\u2019s grandfather, iconic filmmaker Sashadhar Mukherjee, for his contribution to Indian cinema.Reacting to the praise, Tanishaa shared, \u201cWe are very blessed and lucky. In fact, Deb Mukherjee has made a documentary on him. We are yet to release it. It is all a part of film history.\u201d Tanishaa also revealed that much of the furniture in her current home had been brought from her previous family residence. \u201cAll this furniture is from my old house. I used to live in town, in an apartment,\u201d she said.When Farah asked whether it was her mother Tanuja\u2019s home, Tanishaa confirmed, \u201cYes, my mum\u2019s house. This is all my mum\u2019s furniture because my dad was not a very homely person.\u201d Speaking about moving into the property, Tanishaa said, \u201cI shifted here around 14 years ago. Now I am settled here. Bombay changed according to me. The Sea Link came up too.\u201dThe vlog then moved to the kitchen area, which carried the same old-world aesthetic as the rest of the home. Tanishaa revealed that they had switched to induction cooking in an attempt to conserve LPG usage. \u201cSince Modi ji has said we need to save LPG, we have been cooking on induction. We didn\u2019t get LPG cylinders for almost two months,\u201d she explained.Recalling her time on Bigg Boss, Tanishaa also shared, \u201cI learnt how to make parathas in the Bigg Boss house.\u201dThe duo later stepped onto the massive terrace decorated with plants, black outdoor seating arrangements and cozy lounging spots. Shocked by the sheer size of the space, Farah exclaimed, \u201cItna bada terrace!\u201dWhen asked whether she spends a lot of time there, Tanishaa replied, \u201cMum comes up every morning for a walk. We both sit here for chai and coffee.\u201dPointing towards a large single-seater chair placed on the terrace, Tanishaa fondly revealed, \u201cThis is my dad\u2019s chair.\u201d Laughing about its size, she added, \u201cAll the Mukerji brothers are extra large, so they fit only on that chair.\u201dFarah also admired the plants spread across the terrace, and Tanishaa proudly revealed that she had grown many of them herself. Curious about sister Kajol\u2019s role in the house setup, Farah jokingly asked, \u201cWhat\u2019s Kajol\u2019s contribution in all this?\u201dTanishaa instantly quipped, \u201cShe paid for it!\u201d Bursting into laughter, Farah replied, \u201cOkay, well done. That\u2019s the only kind of contribution we want.\u201dAdding to the joke, Tanishaa said, \u201cShe signs the cheque books.\u201dThe conversation then shifted to gatherings and celebrations hosted at the house. Tanishaa admitted she enjoys entertaining friends and family. \u201cYes, I am a party person. Every Holi, we have a party here, usually a sundowner with close friends and family,\u201d she shared.The vlog concluded with Farah gifting Tanishaa several items from her brand collaborations. Accepting them warmly, Tanishaa revealed, \u201cI am constructing a new house.
