The thunderstorm warning has been downgraded.<\/p>\n

Environment Canada has issued a yellow warning over the potential for severe thunderstorms overnight from May 28 and into Friday morning May 29.<\/p>\n
According to the warning, a distburbance is moving across the Southern Interior, bringing with it favourable conditions for developing into severe thunderstorms with heavy rain.<\/p>\n
These storms could bring localized rainfall of 10 to 20 mm and winds gusting up to 70 km\/h. This sudden heavy rainfall carries the risk of flash floods, and reduced visibility.<\/p>\n
Environment Canada also issued a warning and reminder for people to go indoors when a thunderstorm is in the area, due to the risk of lightning strikes.<\/p>\n
