The rain played games with the NASCAR<\/a>Craftsman Truck Series<\/a> all afternoon. Practice and qualifying were both teased with rain, no rain, and then rain again. Just when it looked like NASCAR would get the full qualifying session in, the rain came down in Turn 1 again and put a stop to things.<\/p>\n There were 13 trucks left to qualify in Nashville. Chandler Smith is perhaps the biggest loser in this whole ordeal. He was on the provisional pole before the rain, and had set a blistering pace with a new provisional track record, but that won’t count now.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n In place of Smith, his teammate Layne Riggs will now start on the pole. This also changes who went from in the race to a DNQ. Jonathan Shafer ran a lap quick enough to get him into the race had qualifying gone on without issues.
