Kelly Ripa is spilling on what goes on behind the closed doors of her and Mark Consuelos\u2019 bedroom.<\/p>\n

The Live with Kelly and Mark host, 54, appeared on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, where she explained that she and Consuelos, also 54, don\u2019t always agree on when to have sex.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know about you in your marriage, but I\u2019m going to go personal. Are you an evening person or a morning person?\u201d Ripa asked host Amanda Hirsch.<\/p>\n
\u201cDefinitely not morning,\u201d Hirsch replied. \u201cDo not breathe on me in the morning.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ripa was in agreement but noted that \u201cmen are morning people,\u201d and in particular, Consuelos wants to have sex \u201conly in the morning,\u201d which the former All My Children star deemed \u201cdisgusting.\u201d<\/p>\n
She added of her husband of 29 years: \u201cHe\u2019ll never learn,\u201d she jokingly added. \u201cHe\u2019s a guy.\u201d<\/p>\n
But Consuelos has had to change his way of thinking after taking over as Kelly\u2019s co-host in April 2023.<\/p>\n
\u201cI said to him, \u2018Here\u2019s the thing, there needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can\u2019t always be your way. \u2018Cause it feels like 90 per cent of the time it\u2019s your way. And now that we work together every day, it\u2019s going to have to sometimes be my way, and my way\u2019s at night only.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Ripa added that Consuelos also enjoys kissing her in the morning, which she doesn\u2019t love.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have a retainer in. I gotta rip that out,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd he\u2019s got his nasal strips on. It\u2019s like we are the most repulsive, disgusting [people].\u201d<\/p>\n
But Ripa noted that men \u201cdon\u2019t care\u201d about things like that and that the \u201cd*** has a brain of its own.\u201d<\/p>\n
She jokingly added: \u201cI\u2019m already pre-disgusted for tomorrow morning.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Ripa revealed the pair don\u2019t have sex every morning, she said there has been an unexpected benefit to working with her husband.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe greatest thing about this job, this thing has like, almost repulsed him from morning time during the work week, which is like a miracle,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cMay this show last until he suffers from erectile dysfunction,\u201d she jokingly added, pointing out that now that he\u2019s in his mid-50s but impotence has yet to be an issue.<\/p>\n
