Starting strong, Tankersley picked up back-to-back birdies on his first two holes of the day to see him make the turn 1-under. The Dickson, Tennessee, native earned another circle on the par 5 2nd\u00a0and will go into day two with a share of 57th\u00a0place.\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/olemisssports.com\/sports\/mens-golf\/roster\/tom-fischer\/5376\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5376\" target=\"_blank\">Tom Fischer<\/a> sat second on the leaderboard for Ole Miss, posting 4-over. The senior capped off his round with a birdie on the 426-yards par 4 9th.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/olemisssports.com\/sports\/mens-golf\/roster\/collins-trolio\/5380\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5380\" target=\"_blank\">Collins Trolio<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/olemisssports.com\/sports\/mens-golf\/roster\/finn-meister\/6069\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"6069\" target=\"_blank\">Finn Meister<\/a> both shot 5-over in their opening rounds. <a href=\"https:\/\/olemisssports.com\/sports\/mens-golf\/roster\/cohen-trolio\/5680\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"5680\" target=\"_blank\">Cohen Trolio<\/a> tallied 5-over while making three birdies in four holes to begin the back nine.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nOle Miss will tee off the second round with the morning wave Saturday morning as Coh.
