Region of Peel \u2013 Investigators from 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) have arrested and charged an individual in connection with an attempted murder investigation that occurred in Brampton.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, May 13, between 4 p.m. and 4:25 p.m., an altercation occurred between two individuals in an underground parking lot near Silver Maple Court. During the incident, the victim was shot and transported to a local trauma centre with serious injuries.<\/p>\n
As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for the arrest of 20-year-old Jessen Ebini-Kingue, of no fixed address, for Attempted Murder.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, May 24, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Ebini-Kingue was located and arrested in the area of West Drive in Brampton. He was held for a bail hearing.<\/p>\n
The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
